Yachts are equipped with two on-board power supplies – 12 volts and 220 volts.

When your yacht is moored in a marina and connected to the marina’s electrical grid, you can use regular 220-volt outlets.

When the yacht is at sea, only 12 volt car cigarette lighter type sockets work. You can connect all types of car chargers and 12-220 volt inverters (up to 300 watts). Generators are often installed on large yachts and catamarans to provide 220 volts on board at all times.
